First up is the Tsurinoya Genius 50HL. The lesser known of the two reels but this bad boy is newer and has a higher gear ratio.
Built on an all-new carbon frame design, the Tsurinoya Genius features a sleek design, is easy to palm, and weighs only 135g. Featuring an ultra-lightweight spool at only 6.5g (including bearing) and a ceramic cone-shaped line guide, the Genius is capable of casting as low as 1g weights right out of the box when paired with a thin diameter finesse line.
The 30-point externally adjustable magnetic braking system allows for precise and fine adjustment, allowing for controlled and accurate casting. 10+1 stainless steel bearings and precision-cut aircraft-grade aluminum main gear make the Tsurinoya Genius extremely smooth reel on both the cast and retrieve. Ultra-light handle knobs, a compact carbon handle, a clicking drag star, a clicking tension knob, and an audible drag clicker all add to the list of quality features of this reel

Kuying Teton TTC662L 2-10g 6ft 6in
Kuying are a brand that made their name as somewhat of a giant killer with their exceptional performance comparable to some of the UK’s top brands and their relatively low price point. Their rods are constructed using high end Toray carbon blanks and quality Fuji reel seats and rings.
The Kuying Teton TTC662L is a beautiful two piece casting rod and has the performance of rods twice it's price. From it's relatively modest looks, this rod has the perfect balance of weight (91g) and power. The TTC662L is an excellent BFS rod.
